Dojo Kun – The 5 Maxims

Master Gichin Funakoshi developed and refined five sacred maxims that he considered essential for everyone entering a place of training – the Dojo. He called these commandments the Dojo Kun.
These five fundamental maxims establish the moral and ethical principles that should guide all practitioners inside the dojo, creating an environment of respect, discipline and personal growth.
